Location Intelligence firm Transerve has signed an agreement with Indian School of Business (ISB) to provide a location intelligence (LI) platform for DIRI's flagship India Pulse program.
India Pulse is a next generation e-governance technology stack and implementation framework. The objective of India pulse is to generate insights and intelligence from the information that is being generated by the digital systems within governments.
The project will involve development of an interactive dashboard under the India Pulse portal, wherein data will be leveraged to create predictive and spatial intelligence into governance. The immediate benefits from India Pulse are expected to feed into various state governments' programme implementation and evaluation.
The data collected for India Pulse platform will be provided by state governments which will be represented spatially on-the-fly to visualise the spread over geography and time.
Commenting on the association, Ashwani Rawat, co-founder & director, Transerve said in a release; “Over the years Transerve has collaborated with various state governments to assist them with data-driven decisions making. Marking a new milestone, we are delighted to associate with DIRI@ISB as a key partner in the development of India Pulse portal. Using our expertise in location intelligence, we will be developing an interactive portal which will help in analysing the effectiveness of various schemes at rural level.”
Bhagwan Chowdhry, executive director of DIRI, said, “ DIRI through its data-driven research seeks to inform policy makers and with this association, we want to extend our support to the Government of Andhra Pradesh in its endeavour to use a data-driven approach to formulate a roadmap for the sustainable development of the state.”
