Road infrastructure more than just a pedestrian plan

Roads are an important infrastructure in any economy. And like any well-built infrastructure, building and maintaining roads costs money, which is provided by taxes. Two forms of road taxes are common. Some roads collect tolls, while others are financed by annual road taxes for vehicles. But the use of roads is free for pedestrians, bicyclists and users of other inexpensive light vehicles.
