Amol Warange

Amol is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing investments in Financial Inclusion & Well-Being.

Amol brings more than 15 years of experience across private equity and investment banking to the firm. Prior to joining Omidyar Network India, Amol worked as an investment associate at Multiples Alternate Asset Management in Mumbai where he executed and evaluated deals across consumer, manufacturing, and agricultural sectors in India. Amol previously worked at TowerBrook and Sovereign Capital in London where he evaluated investment opportunities across Europe. He began his career in global markets - investment banking and worked at ICICI Bank and J.P. Morgan Chase in India where he advised clients on investment and risk management strategies in fixed income markets.

Amol holds an MBA from London Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Mumbai. He also holds an ACA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and is a national level gold medallist.
