Kriti Mittal
Kriti leads Omidyar Network India's work in emerging areas including Open Digital Ecosystems (ODEs), and India Innovation Insights Hub (I3H), where she is responsible for shaping strategy and investments.
Kriti brings over a decade of development sector and public policy experience. Prior to joining Omidyar Network India, she was a policy advisor at the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, where she helped shape economic and social empowerment strategies for informal settlements, led inter-departmental efforts to improve access to welfare programs, and participation of women-led community based organizations in urban governance. Prior to that she co-founded an organisation that worked with elected representatives on local area development and legislative research. Earlier in her career she has also worked with a non-profit and a public sector consulting firm on a range of issues including civic engagement, urban rejuvenation, sustainable livelihoods, and MSME cluster development.
Kriti holds an MSc. in Development Administration and Planning fromUniversity College London (UCL) and a BSc. in Economics from the University of London International Program.
