Director's Note: To be honest, when I met Vamsi, Pulkit and Anand, I thought I was introduced to three college boys who never lost their mischievousness from their IIT hostel days. They seemed to be trapped in a bit of a time capsule. Yet when the filming began, they were so focused on talking about India’s education system and the future they envisioned for it. Their reason for this was evident - They were still students at heart. They shared the anxieties, the past rejections and the future dreams of a student.

Vedantu, which means a network of knowledge, has soared to such highs because of the devotion and dedication of these IIT'ans. A whole day of chatting went by quickly and left me hoping I had more teachers and mentors like Vamsi, Anand, and Pulkit, who might have genuinely taken an effort to teach and direct. If sometime in the near future a student says that he wants to be a teacher, I would smile and think to myself that maybe Vamsi, Anand and Pulkit had something to do with it.
